Bianca

I started The Crawford Austin Agency at the age of 26 after being completely burned out by the television and banking industry. I knew I wanted to work with various clients across every industry and take every client and project to another level. That was over a decade ago and I still wake up excited about what lies ahead.

Bianca is the President and CEO of The Crawford Austin Agency. With nearly 20 years in the communications industry, she has worked with clients around the world to build brands and strategies that move the culture forward. As a lifelong learner, Bianca holds a BA in Journalism and Mass Communications from University of South Carolina and a master’s degree in Organizational Leadership. Bianca leads all creative strategy and business development for the agency.

April


I met April through Ruth and boy, was I impressed. Her digital storytelling skills, creativity and authenticity make her a great partner on any job. She is laid back, loves to laugh, and has the best casual wardrobe of anyone I know.

April has over a decade of experience in website design and videography. She earned a Visual Communications degree from the University of South Carolina and began freelancing shortly after graduating. She has built countless websites. April has worked on video projects across the nation for clients such as Priscilla Shirer, Anthony Evans and Coca-Cola. April joined the Crawford Austin Agency team in 2012 and works in Digital Communications for First Baptist Church Downtown. In her spare time, April enjoys cooking, exploring new restaurants and attending live shows.

Nita

Bernita, affectionately known as ‘Nita,’ is the social media maven and the nicest person you will ever meet. A small-town “PK” (preacher’s kid), you can tell she was “raised right,” and is definitely the biggest cheerleader on The Crawford Austin Agency team.

Nita is a graduate of Claflin University with a bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications and a Master of Professional Studies degree in Strategic Public Relations from The George Washington University. The Hemingway, SC native found herself trekking the grounds of historically Black universities in South Carolina and North Carolina creating content, interviewing notable individuals, writing captivating stories and implementing crisis communications strategies. Nita currently serves clients at The Crawford Austin Agency by implementing social media and public relations strategies and serving wherever she is needed.

In her free time, Nita can be found in her kitchen experimenting with new recipes and recording recipe videos for social media, reading the latest books, exploring restaurants and spending time with her family and friends.

Princess

Princess is an amazing writer+ wife+ mommy of three and has the biggest smile this side of the Mississippi. She is the ultimate professional and is the most detailed-oriented person I have ever met. So of course, I had to ask her to join our team last year as our technical writer and copy editor.

A graduate of Claflin University, Princess is a former news reporter and published journalist. Her articles have been published in both local and national publications. Princess wears the hat of copy editor for the agency. She is known for her unique way with words. Princess enjoys sharing her passion for writing and conciseness with The Crawford Austin Agency.

Ruth

Ruth has been with the agency the longest. She was my first hire (like a I hired her in the second month of the company’s existence) and continues to amaze me with her work ethic, creativity and design skills.

Ruth earned a Studio Art degree from the University of South Carolina in 2000. She has been a graphic designer for 20 years, and enjoys both the aesthetic and precision qualities that the craft requires. When she’s not picking out fonts and serving as the graphic designer at the agency, Ruth enjoys hiking, camping, traveling, and tennis.

Sheba

Sheba is the BEST personal assistant and serves as the public relations coordinator. She keeps a constant smile on her face and a bad purse on her waist. She always comes to slay and brings every space and room to life. She is the glue that keeps the CEO together, focused and on time..

Sheba graduated with a communications degree from Voorhees College, and obtained her master's degrees in Business Administration and Healthcare Administration from The University of Phoenix. She has spent her career in project management, training and education. She also enjoys bringing small spaces to life with dessert tables, and home interior design, but her first love will always be Christmas decorations! She is an amazing organizer, event coordinator, and personal assistant guru! Everything she touches is done with high energy and a smile!
